How I Work

This is the default teaser text option. You can remove or edit this text under your "General Settings" tab. This can also be overwritten on a page by page basis.

How does the Organizing process work?

I understand how difficult it can be to bite the bullet and contact an Organizer about an organizing problem you are facing. It’s natural to feel scared, overwhelmed, embarrassed, and self conscious. Feel free to initially contact me by email if that is more comfortable than a phone call.

When you are ready to start, a phone conversation will allow you to tell me about your project and why you are having difficulties keeping the space organized. Our conversation will also determine if we are a good fit. In the event either of us decides that the fit is not right, I will be happy to refer you to other organizers. After this consultation we can schedule a time to begin. The first meeting will allow me the opportunity to access the space and establish a plan. Most often, after the assessment is completed we will begin organizing!

Working together, I will help you lean new organizing skills and habits that will keep your space organized. After the project is done, I will check back with you in a few weeks to make sure you are doing well on your own and help you with any problems that may have come up.

Please do not clean up before I arrive. Seeing how you live will enable me to determine the best way for you to reach and maintain our goals.

Questions you may have.

How long will it take?

That is a difficult question to answer until I have seen your project and we have worked together a bit. How long depends not only how much stuff you have, but how quickly you are able to make decisions. Some areas will go fast, others may take longer.

How do I charge?

Most often I charge an hourly rate unless the project is very small. Payment is due at each organizing session.
If the project is extensive, I give price breaks in relation to hours worked.

Ask about my discounted organizing packages of 6, 12 and 24 hours. The bigger the package, the bigger the discount!
